Offtek's president, Ernest LaRose, entered the copier industry in 1975 as a Service Technician. Subsequent positions in Sales, Service, and General Management prepared him for the challenge and excitement of founding Mr. Copy.
Mr. Copy opened for business in 1992. Located in the LaRose home, the business quickly grew over one million in sales and thousands of satisfied customers.
The company name was later changed to Offtek, reflecting its focus on office technologies, that is, the sales and service of all
equipment in the creation, duplication and movement of office documents.
LaRose's experience and dedication is apparent in his involvement with every aspect of the company's function.
